Pattern Update: The Brassie Joggers!

Pattern Update: The Brassie Joggers!

Posted by Melanie Burns on

Hello all of y'all out there in Greenstyle land! We come to you with another pattern update: The Brassie Joggers! It's no secret the Brassie joggers are a crowd favorite, so naturally they were pretty high up on the list of patterns to update to our new size chart.

If you're not familiar with the Brassie Joggers yet, they're a semi-fitted jogger that comes with tons of options! They have 3 different rise options: low, mid, or high rise; 3 different lengths: shorts, capri, and full length; 2 pocket styles: zipper or patch; 2 leg finishing options: banded or hemmed; as well as 2 different waistband options: drawstring or elastic. You can create SO many looks with this one pattern!

This pattern works best with knit fabric that has at least 25% 4-way stretch such as French Terry, sweatshirt fleece with lycra, Ponte de Roma, heavy cotton lycra, athletic fabric, etc. If your fabric has only 25% stretch, we recommend you use a ribbing or cotton lycra for the waistband and cuffs. This pattern will take anywhere from 1/2 yard to 2 1/4 yards of fabric, depending on size made and option made. You will also need drawstring and grommets for the drawstring waist option as well, and 2" elastic if you're making the elastic waist option.

This pattern was updated to follow our current size chart, and covers sizes B-M, which includes hips measuring 32 to 62 inches. It also includes a handy guide for measuring yourself so you can get the optimal fit! If you need help sewing any of the steps in the pattern, you can watch Sharon's Sew Along she did last year here.

Get the pattern HERE, on sale for $9 until Jan 29, after which it will return to full price of $12.

Our testers always do an absolutely amazing job of showcasing our patterns; so, once again, here they are in all their awesomeness!
