Favorites Week - Melanie's Pick: The Power Sports Bra

Favorites Week - Melanie's Pick: The Power Sports Bra

Posted by Melanie Burns on

Hey y'all, Melanie here! This week is Favorites week here at GS, and it's my turn to share my favorite pattern! It should come as no surprise that my favorite pattern is the Power Sports Bra! I honestly don't even want to count how many I have, but its definitely a hefty part of my wardrobe. I not only wear them to workout in, but because they hold their shape well and provide great support, they're also my favorite daily wear bra, too! I like to use swim cups and power mesh in mine, and it prevents the dreaded mono-boob effect some sports bras give.

In my opinion, this pattern is easily the most versatile and hackable of all the Greenstyle patterns! It comes with so many features: size 28A to 46H, three different back versions- Strappy U back, Racerback, and Strappy Back, two different neck cut lines, and a higher coverage side cut line for a little extra side boob coverage.

But, with a little creativity and a few rounds of trial and error, you can hack it to be literally any style you could imagine! Make it as strappy or simple as you like: the choice is yours! This amazing pattern is on sale for 24 hours for a whopping 40% off! Go get yours now, and make the sports bra of your dreams!

To make things a little easier, I've combined all my favorite PSB hack blog posts into one post! Each link is posted below the picture of the hack.

Happy Sewing!
